About Manna Lactation Services LLC
Tairra Leckemby, IBCLC
Manna Lactation Services LLC is owned and operated by myself, Tairra Leckemby, IBCLC. I'm a millennial mother of three who has been passionate about lactation since conceiving my eldest in 2014. In 2016 that passion led me to Fayette County WIC, where I served hundreds of families as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor and worked alongside some of the greatest women I've ever known. (Shout out to the Nurse Family Partnership ladies as well. What an honor it was to work along side you!)
I loved and lived my job at WIC, but had a burning desire to help families in an even bigger way with less limitations on my "Scope of practice." I also noticed a shortage of IBCLCs outside of the hospital and birthing centers in the larger cities surrounding us. Our little rural community deserved expert lactation care without a 45 minute drive! After four years with my WIC family, and four years of non-stop studying, I sat for my IBCLC Examination and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
After navigating COVID and having a baby in late 2020, in 2022 I started more actively pursuing a career as a private practice lactation consultant in the Fayette and Greene County area. I hope to serve the area for the rest of my working days and look forward to working with your family!

- I married my high school sweetheart.
- I love my 4 kitties, and my small flock of chickens.
- Gardening makes me happy but I'm not great at it.
- I'm neurodivergent which also means "never boring"
- I have a wonderfully derpy golden retriever named "Minnie."
- I was a homeschooling mom for years- now my kids go to a local Christian school so that I have more availability to serve families in the area.

*There is no travel fee for locations within a 45 minute drive from Adah, PA. Beyond that, there may be an additional travel fee that will be discussed ahead of time.
What about insurance?
The Lactation Network
The Lactation Network is a third-party biller who handles the insurance shenanigans for the insurance companies they're in-network with, allowing me to be paid by the insurance company rather than by you. ($50 deposit still applies to all visits, but will be refunded if you are within my service area and billed through TLN).
Wildflower Health
Wildflower is a similar party to TLN who currently deals with CIGNA health plans. URL to check coverage coming soon! ($50 deposit still applies to all visits, but will be refunded if you are within my service area and billed through Wildflower).
Superbills
When paying for a consult out of pocket you will be provided with a superbill upon request. You may submit the superbill to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Medicaid and Medical Assistance
Unfortunately, Medicaid and medical assistance insurances in PA typically will not cover in-home lactation consultations. If you are financially unable to afford a consultation, please contact me! Finances should never be a barrier to receiving the care you and your family deserve.
